Patellar Cartilage injury of Knee in a young female patient : Arthroscopy & Fixation done at ASIC, INDORE

A young female patient came to ASIC, Indore with complaints of intense knee pain with swelling and painful restricted movements of knee.

After clinical examination and MR Imaging she was diagnosed to be suffering from Knee Patellar Cartilage/ osteochondral injury with a loose body in the knee.

She underwent Arthroscopy at ASIC, Indore (Global SNG Hospital) and then the fragment was retrieved and then OR IF was done with 2.7 mm CC screws which were countersunk within cartilage layer to avoid any friction injury later.

Patient stood the surgery very well and is presently under Rehab.
