Rotator cuff tear : shoulder injury : Post arthroscopy surgery ( Rotator cuff repair) follow up

Shoulder injuries are commoner than we think and of these soft tissue injuries especially the Rotator Cuff Injuries of the shoulder are very common. Mostly are Partial tears and few are complete thickness rotator cuff tears also. Due to lack of awareness and apprehension about surgical treatment of Rotator Cuff tears / injuries people tend to neglect or seek alternative measures for recovery but usually their efforts go futile especially with complete thickness Rotator Cuff tears ( Supraspinatus tear being the most common of all ).

Here is a post surgical follow up video of a retracted supraspinatus tendon tear with limited shoulder movements and dysfunction of Rt Shoulder leading to inability to use Rt Upper limb.

With Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair at ASIC,Indore by Dr Tanmay Chaudhary, (senior orthopedic doctor in indore, knee and shoulder specialist, Arthroscopy surgeon & Sports injuries specialist) and good motivated Rehab by a senior physiotherapist patient did well to achieve almost near full range and function at just 3 months post surgery.
