A middle aged patient from Mandsaur had visited ASIC: Arthroscopy & Sports Injury Centre, Indore and had consulted Dr Tanmay Chaudhary, Arthroscopy & Sports Injury Consultant, Knee & Shoulder reconstructive surgeon for his shoulder pain and inability to lift arm up and difficulty in daily activities, he had sustained shoulder injury 1.5 months ago.
He was clinically examined and investigated with Xrays and MRI. He was diagnosed to have Massive Rotator Cuff Tear of Rt Shoulder with full thickness tear of Supraspinatus and Infraspinatus tendons with around 4 cm retraction.
He was operated upon at ASIC, Indore where Rt Shoulder Arthroscopy + Rotator Cuff Repair was done with suture anchors + Tuberoplasty + Subacromial decompression was done along with Biceps Tenotomy under Brachial Block + GA.
Patient stood the procedure well and Rehab was planned and explained to the patient by physio team. He went home without any discomfort.
