Meniscus tear is a common cause of knee pain in all age groups. Knee arthroscopy is required to confirm and treat the tear with either partial meniscectomy or repair as per the acuity / chronicity of tear, configuration of tear, vascular zone of the tear, age of the patient etc. Here is a video of arthroscopic partial meniscectomy with balancing of meniscus of a small posterior tear of knee.
