September 16, 2017A young boy presented with complaints of Knee instability and pain on instability episodes while making an effort to run/ walk on uneven surface etc. to ASIC (Arthroscopy & Sports Injuries Centre), Indore.
Patient was from nearby town Ujjain and sustained injury 2 yrs back while playing kabaddi. Was not relieved with medicines and physiotherapy for last few months.
MRI knee was clearly showing ACL Tear with complex tear of Medial Meniscus post horn.
He underwent Knee Arthroscopy at ASIC, Indore where on ACL Tear was confirmed and both medial & lateral Meniscus had stable superior articular surface tear of post 2/3rds.
ACL RECONSTRUCTION was performed with minimal invasive technique of Arthroscopy using hamstring graft.
Patient stood the procedure well and was explained entire details of surgery live.
