Acute ACL injury of knee in 40yrs male from Dhamnod

A 40 yrs male resident of Dhamnod, Dhar, MP, India came to ASIC, Indore with complaints of Lt knee pain, swelling & instability with history of fall from two-wheeler 5 days ago, he took primary treatment elsewhere, confirmed of sustaining ACL tear of knee on imaging. He was advised to undergo Knee Arthroscopy and ACL Reconstruction once swelling subsides and patient achieves at least 120deg of range of motion of affected knee.

He underwent Knee Arthroscopy and ACL (Ligament) Reconstruction using patient’s own hamstring graft.

Patient was discharged recently walking with a brace and walker, his Rehab started the same day of surgery.
