ACL Cyst / Ganglion Knee : Operated at ASIC, Indore : Knee Arthroscopy

A middle aged female from Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh, India came to ASIC, Indore (Global SNG Hospital, Indore)  with complaints of Knee pain since 1 year on bending & squatting, had h/o knee injury 1 year back : fall at home over floor, had occasional instability episodes on uneven surfaces while walking. After thorough clinical examination, MRI investigation she was diagnosed to be suffering from ACL Cyst/ganglion of knee and after counselling by our arthroscopy surgeon Dr Tanmay Chaudhary, she underwent knee arthroscopy where a well contained globular cyst was present within the substance of ACL, cyst decompression was done followed by anatomical ACL Reconstruction with hamstring graft.

Patient stood the procedure well, she was discharged walking with brace support after 2 days.

She is under rehab training with our physiotherapist’s team.
